Steve brings more than 15 years of middle market transaction experience to Westbourne, where his focus is on working directly with management teams, business owners and investors to complete M&A transactions.

 

Prior to joining Westbourne, Steve was with Wintrust Financial Corporation where he advised clients on optimal capital structures, originated senior financing transactions and assisted the firm with strategic initiatives.  Prior to Wintrust, Steve held a variety of roles in the commercial, investment and private banking groups of JPMorgan Chase.  His entire career has been devoted to working with closely-held companies and their management teams. 

 

Steve earned an MBA with Distinction from the Kellstadt Graduate School of Business at DePaul University and a BS in Finance with Honors from Illinois State University.  He serves as the Vice Chairman of the Finance Advisory Board at Illinois State University.

 

Steve resides in Charleston, SC with his wife and four children.
